Our company
If you are looking for a place to feel among friends, develop a passion for the water and learn in confidence everything about swimming and its related topics,Acqualian This is what you're looking for! We're the first Open Water Swimming School in the Dominican Republic, for babies, youth, and adults, beginners and advanced! We're based on Boca Chica Beach, although we travel to any region of the Dominican Republic to teach classes wherever you need.

We offer classes in Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, Juan Dolio, Nagua, Punta Cana, Las Terrenas, and La Romana. We've been teaching in the country for seven years, and our coach, Aurora Francesca Reparato, is of Italian origin and has been teaching for 25 years and has been an athlete since she was three years old. So, you can feel in the best hands.

Acqualian began shaping its fins with its new SHINE concept in 2018 at the Utesa Herrera pool, where instructor Aurora began offering swimming and synchronized swimming classes for children and adults.
The school then grew, aiming to offer a new concept of comprehensive health through the sea. That's why we moved to Boca Chica, and we're here to welcome you with our "more than swimming" classes: aquatic therapy, gymnastics, mermaid swim school, inclusive swimming lessons, boat experiences, scuba diving, snorkeling, water yoga, and much more.
Mermaid Partenope
Coach Aurora Reparato or in her stage name Sirena Partenope is ours CEO and inspirationPartenope is the legend that inspired Coach Aurora as a child. Partenope was the name of a siren who settled in the place where the city of Naples was later founded in Italy, where the coach is originally from.
Coach Aurora Reparato is a swimming coach with over 20 years of experience teaching swimming and synchronized swimming. She is a FIN member and certified Rescue Diver and Mermaiding Instructor by PADI.
